    About

    My photo
    Kathryn
I'm Kathryn. a fourth year DPhil history student at Pembroke College, University of Oxford. My research focuses on the social experience of religion for soldiers in the First World War through the case study of the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA). This blog documents my PhD research, alongside other articles about the First World War, book reviews and battlefields diaries. When I'm not studying history, I can often be found rowing, running or exploring the countryside of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.
